History

The idea that vibration can be beneficial to the body can be traced back to Ancient Greece, where vibration was used to stimulate healing after injury. Modern vibration training has its origins in Russian space exploration, when scientists discovered the positive effects on muscle strength and bone density for astronauts, allowing them to spend much longer periods in space, with fewer detrimental physical effects.

Vibration Training emerged in the West in the 1970′s and has evolved considerably since then, and is now widely recognised as one of the fastest and easiest ways to get in shape.
